Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving! Every Thanksgiving I think about the days when you'd go to Disneyland and see all of the Christmas decorations that had been put up the night before. The giant live Christmas tree was slowly brought down Main Street on a giant crane, with all decorations attached, ready to be placed into its sleeve in Town Square. The garland and holly were strung from the buildings, window displays were changed, floral arrangements  were swapped with poinsettias and other holiday foliage. It was true teamwork, and most guests who would visit the park would never realize all the work that went on overnight.

Today Disneyland's decorations far exceed what they used to do and it's impossible to do overnight, but with more extensive decorations spreading from New Orleans Square to Mickey's Toontown and with the snow and icy lights on Sleeping Beauty Castle and the breathtaking lighting display on "it's a small world," Christmastime at Disneyland is more spectacular than ever.

I wish you all a Happy and Healthy Thanksgiving!!!
