I've long been fascinated with the Disneyland Ambassador program, and have started gathering their stories firsthand. You can view many of my Ambassador interviews on my website www.resortambassadors.com.

Only two of the official Ambassadors have personally worked with Walt Disney. Julie Reihm Casaletto was the 1965 Ambassador  and Connie Swanson Lane was in 1966. In those days, the Ambassadors represented more than Disneyland, they were also representing Walt Disney himself! Connie remembers conversations with Walt where he sincerely wanted her opinion of guests reaction to the park!

Following the longtime Ambassador tradition, two new Disneyland Resort Ambassadors were named yesterday at a ceremony in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle.
