Random Disney fact: Song of the South
One thing I love about writing for Disney's D23 is that I am constantly learning new things. Here's just a fun little fact I learned about B'rer Fox who appeared in the 1946 film "Song of the South" and is also seen in the park attraction, "Splash Mountain."
The character was voiced by James Baskett who played Uncle Remus, and the fox talked so fast that animator Ollie Johnston once said, "He had the fastest voice I have ever worked on, at least two words a frame!"
Next time I ride by B'rer Fox in "Splash Mountain," and hear him screaming at B'rer Bear, "Whatcha doin' up there?! You're makin' a fool of yourself!" I'm sure I'll think of Ollie.
