New Playhouse Disney show - "Timmy Time"
"Timmy Time" is a new series coming to
Playhouse Disney. When I sat down to watch it with my boys, we knew
nothing about it. As soon as it began my four year old son exclaimed,
"This was before 'Special Agent Oso!'" and my eight year old son said,
"He’s part of "Shaun the Sheep," which has already been appearing on
Playhouse Disney. One thing that's particularly unique about
this series is that there is no dialogue. The animals only speak in
sounds. Timmy "baas," while the owl hoots, and all the other animals
"speak" in their native tongue. Without any language in the show,
children must really focus and pay attention if they want to know what’s
going on, and it was enough to keep both my boy’s interest.
"Timmy Time" will premiere on Playhouse Disney Monday, September 13th, and it received a definite paws, hooves, claws and thumbs up in this household!
